About Dr. J N Buragohain

Dr. Jadunath Buragohain is a Senior Consultant Surgical Oncologist having 17 years of experience in Oncology. Trained in Cancer Surgery at Cancer Institute(WIA), Adyar, Chennai and is the first M Ch in Surgical Oncology from North East India. He worked as Consultant in Surgical Oncology department at Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre before Joining as Oncosurgeon at Gauhati Medical College and State Cancer Institute, GMC. Presently working as Senior Consultant Surgical Oncologist at Nemcare Hospital, Guwahati. With excellence in academic and surgical experience, he has brought smiles to many families.

 

He has organised many regional and national conference and CME. Past Hon. Secretary of AONEI for 2014-2015, Joint Secretary and Hon. Secretary Assam State Chapter of Association of Surgeons of India 2015-16 and 2017-18 respectively. Organised many Cancer Awareness programme, RUN for Cancer Awareness and free health check-up with free medicine distribution throughout the year.
